Do you know the feeling when everything around you seems to sink into chaos? It feels like you have no control whatsoever and cannot see how to make it out of this jungle where you cannot see the woods for the trees anymore.

It seems like disaster struck in every part of your life – your finances, your work, your health, even your relationships. Or is it that one affects the other so profoundly that you are literally experiencing a Tower-moment where everything you thought you knew about the world all of a sudden does not apply anymore?

When anxiety slowly starts to turn into sheer panic, you feel like a playball of destiny with no control. Uncertainty rules, and perspectives disappear in the midst of the gigantic storm life is forming right over your head.

One thing’s for certain, one thing’s for sure: You are not alone! You probably know that our planet is experiencing not just a Full Moon in Pisces today, but also a lunar eclipse.

No wonder you feel like in a dream – or maybe rather a nightmare filled with all the worst endings possible.

Pisces, the sign that rules sleep, dreams, and mysteries is not an easy energy to deal with, especially if you like being in control of things. The dreamy and somewhat ‘out there’ energy of Pisces allows you to let your imagination run wild and limitless. However, if this is accompanied by fear and what-if scenarios, the beauty of Pisces’ mystic creativity can soon turn into the worst nightmare of your life.

I know I’ve been feeling anxious and uncertain these days. I felt the desperation of my life slipping away. Uncertainty at work, relationships that feel like they are falling apart, and a fatigue that goes far beyond just needing a good night’s sleep.

The full Moon’s energy teaches us to let go.

I think this lesson is more important than ever to all of us.

When fear strikes and control becomes part of a dwindling memory, we need to learn how to let go.

All of us have fears. Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of aging, fear of loss, fear of…you name it!

If you boil it down, the root of all fear is the fear of ‘not being able to handle it’. Whatever ‘it’ might be for you. You actually are afraid that you won’t be able to handle ‘it’.

How do you handle your fear?

Does your biggest fear make you feel helpless, depressed, anxious, and paralysed? Or do you feel like you have a choice (control), the confidence to make the choice, the energy to take action, and the wisdom to know that if you are coming from a place of compassion and love for yourself and others, there are no wrong choices, only different experiences.

How do you take control back when everything is falling apart?

I have learned that it’s possible to get a hold on that anxiety and feeling completely powerless, and I would like to share a few things you can do if you feel you are drowning right now.

Try to step back and create distance between your situation and your emotions.

Remember, it’s not what is happening in your life but the emotional meaning you give to the situation that makes you feel the way you are.

Once you are aware of this, you can learn to see things for what they truly are, instead of coming to conclusions about what this is saying about you as a person.

  • To do this, simply start to look for hidden opportunities in all setbacks. See setbacks as opportunities to learn something new or to use and sharpen a skill you already have. Instead of focusing on what is difficult in a situation, look for what must be learned.
  • Start seeing things as not black and white, which means, everything that happens has good and bad qualities. Success also comes with struggle. Love brings joy but can also bring feelings of loss.
  • Identify your strengths, use them, learn new skills related to your strengths, and look for opportunities to use your strengths in every setback.
Analyze your level of control or autonomy over your life, and find ways to improve that aspect.

Stepping into your power means acquiring the wisdom of knowing what cannot be controlled and needs to be let go and what can be controlled and requires taking action.

  • You cannot control what people do or say to us, but we can 100% control how it affects us.
  • You cannot always control situations, but you 100% can control how you handle them.
We are often not aware of how much of our lives we actually can control.

Most of us do have at least some degree of control over how, when, what, and with whom we do things. It’s important to identify those areas and impose your autonomy so you can feel a little bit more in control of things.

For example:

  • Your diet
  • Your exercise routine
  • How you spend your money
  • With whom you spend your free time
  • Improving your skillset for more recognition at work

Let go completely of all the situations that you cannot control

Dwelling over something that is out of your control will only make you feel helpless. Stepping into your power means surrendering and letting things go completely for your own peace and tranquility.

Fear will still be there, but you will handle it from a position of power, which means you take action and learn about your strengths and your purpose while you handle whatever it is life just threw at you.

This shift in thinking is precisely what will empower you to change your reality, or is it just the perception of reality that changes???

Does it even matter if it makes you feel better?

Take the time tonight to use the powerful energy of the lunar eclipse in Pisces to think about all the things you have no control of whatsoever. Write them down on a piece of paper.

You can either burn the paper as a symbol of destroying the energy of control that is destructive to your wellbeing. Or, you could put it under your pillow and ask your subconscious to deal with your fear of letting go. You will be surprised what revelations dreams can bring.

On another piece of paper write down all the possible little things you could do to take control in your daily life.Stick it somewhere to remind you daily that you have the freedom to take little actions that will make a difference in the long run.

Let us know in the comments what steps you are taking right now to take control back of your life!

With all my love,

Wanda
