
In my last blog I promised to elaborate more on the topic of transformation, so here I will explore how the mind works, why change can feel impossible, and how to start your journey of lasting transformation.

Do you find yourself working hard on changing your habits and taking steps towards your goals, but your willpower keeps running out, leaving you right where you started?
Maybe you´ve been trying to change your health habits to feel better for quite some time now.
Maybe you are trying to get a work and/or creative project off the ground to improve your quality of life.
Maybe you constantly find yourself in broken relationships, wondering what is wrong with you.
If you are at the point of giving up, just about to lose faith in the whole Law of Attraction hype, this blog is for you.
When you align your thoughts (mind) and emotions (emotions), your conscious and your subconscious mind to work as one, your focus and energy (purpose/spirit) will become a force to reckon with.
Maybe all you are missing is that Magickal Connection that exists within you aligning you with the forces and energies that govern the universe.
A belief in your subconscious mind is always much more powerful than a desire in your conscious mind.
I want to start this conversation with this bold statement from Joseph Murphy
because it wraps up the essence of change better than I could ever express.
As crazy as it sounds, what you think you want and how you see yourself is usually not what really is going on in your mind. Look around you. If you feel that your life is an uncontrollable mess filled with disappointment, and feels like you are a playball of fate rather than the creator of your life, then this is merely a reflection of your own essence at the moment. It is your soul pointing out to you that you are not walking in your purpose and the essential connection between who you are and who you want to be is disrupted somewhere.
This disconnect happens because you will perceive your reality exactly how your subconscious is programmed to perceive it. No amount of positive thinking can change the beliefs, values, and resulting essence of who you are. If you want lasting change and true transformation, you need to go deep into your subconscious, all the way down into the seat of your emotions.
This is what invisibly drives you. The issue is if you are unaware of this fact and unable to see that your reality is not a truth, rather a perception created by your subconscious that plays out like a movie right in front of your eyes.
This is good news, it means that you can change your entire life just by changing your perception and aligning your essence or spirit with your conscious wants, dreams, and desires.
As Dr. Joe Dispenza says,
this alignment comes from teaching your emotions to feel the desired future before it has arrived through the practice of purposeful meditation.
Yes, you can learn to feel happy, abundant, and anything else you want to feel. In order to do so, you need to literally trick your own mind.
Once your subconscious believes that things have changed, things will change.
So how do you access that subconscious, and what does this even look like?
Let me introduce you to your mind and the mysterious ways it works!!!
Imagine your mind as 2 rooms divided by a door. The first room is your conscious mind. You can easily access it whenever you want to. Here you think, decide, make plans, take action, and communicate.
You have sat in here for quite some time and hatched out the perfect plan to achieve your goals.
Then there is the second room – your subconscious mind – which is an unknown place full of mystery and unpredictability.
This is where your brain´s software developers sit and constantly write the programs that then are running on autopilot, invisibly driving you to act and react a certain way – every single time.
If room #1 and room #2 are not aligned and going in the same direction, by default, whatever is going on in room #2 overrides all the carefully thought-out plans you made in room #1
Whenever you try to propose a new plan of action, you run into a bouncer standing in front of door #2. He is in charge of the flow of information between the 2 rooms and is not letting anything unfamiliar in.
Everything that coincides with the existing programs, is granted access without any problems.
But try to propose a new plan of action and you are blocked. You tried many things to get past the bouncer:
- Distracting him by speaking positive affirmations
- Wrestling him with your will power
- Trying to brainwash him by explaining why this new idea is so great
NOTHING HAS WORKED!
The bouncer is also called your analytical mind. It’s the part of your brain that decides what is important and what is not.
These decisions are based on how familiar and therefore safe something feels – your ingrained belief systems, values, and perceptions of things even if these are negative and keeping you from where you want to go.
Predictability is like a safety net. It wants to be there because who knows what will happen if you break the cycle? The apocalypse itself, probably.
In order to change the way your subconscious perceives things and introduce a new action plan, you first need to bypass security.
You need to get past the bouncer and temporarily disable your analytical mind.
You do this by means of purposeful meditation.
Meditation is so effective because once your brain waves go from Beta (your waking/conscious state) to Alpha (your mind is still alert but relaxed) to Theta waves (almost to a trance-like state), it is impossible for you to feel any negative emotions and you have successfully put the analytical mind to sleep.
With the bouncer out of the way, this is your chance to learn what it feels like to experience the peace of the present moment, where you can let your thoughts pass without judgment, where you can leave your identity behind and rest yourself in that feeling of peace – absent of any past emotions that try to predict and paint a gloomy picture of your future.
It is in the present moment where you´re free to connect to the energy of who you want to become and teach your subconscious the new plans of your new desires.
It is in that present moment, and ONLY there where your subconscious will believe anything you tell it and vibrate that new energy out to the universe, where you manifest those new habits you want to implement to match your energy to the rockets of desire your conscious mind has already launched.
This is what the Law of Attraction is trying to say when talking about entering a higher vibration to align with your purpose.
It refers to that present moment where you can teach your body to feel the emotion of what you want your future to be like before that future occurs.
You can start with daily meditations, 3-5 minutes a day. It is said that change starts to happen with regular meditation of just 13 minutes.
I don’t like to go by the clock but it’s helpful to know. If you´re starting out, 13 minutes of meditation can feel daunting and you don’t want to find a new reason to stress out about. Start with what feels doable and work yourself up from there.
Because your reality is merely a reflection of what your subconscious believes to be true, the magic of creation happens when you purposefully enter your subconscious and teach it to feel your dream future before it happens. As your perspective of life and truth itself shifts in the process, your reality shifts, reflecting your new state of being.
This is what it means when they say that true change begins within!
